First, you must complete your application, including all required information from you and your cosigner, and submit it electronically. Next, your school will review and certify your loan application. Lastly, the lender conducts an initial review of your application and Conditionally Approves your loan. Upon Conditional Approval, you will be asked to print, sign and send back to the lender your application and other loan documents. Upon receipt, the lender will conduct a deeper review of your application and collateral, and complete its final approval decision. After the lender approves your signed loan application, your loan status will change from Conditionally Approved to "Final Approved," and the lender will disburse the loan proceeds directly to the school you will be attending.
