Specifically, at your direction (when you click the submit button after completing the on line application), the Customer Information you provide to us on the application will be sent to participating lenders who offer loan products, other parties relevant to your transaction and/or participating universities and colleges. As the lenders and universities may keep and use your Customer Information whether or not you qualify for a loan with them or use their services, we recommend that if you want to know more, you contact them directly for Customer Information about their specific privacy policies.
We may sell or buy other businesses or assets. In such transactions, Customer Information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the unlikely event that GSLC, is acquired, becomes insolvent or substantially all of its assets are acquired, Customer Information will of course be one of the transferred assets. In addition, in the unlikely event of bankruptcy GSLC may disclose Customer Information to any creditor that has rights.
